    Point well taken. …
Point well taken. Remember, though: the index of daily required calories is based on a sliding scale of ‘activity.’ That is, the amount of daily required calories depends on your? daily output of energy or ‘activity’ — which is unique and different for each survival situation. Some may be stationary, sheltering in place (less calories). Some may be mobile, moving from one location to the next (more calories). Again… ‘situation dictates.’

    Mountain house has …
Mountain house has low calories and I think needs augmentation, emergency essentials I see you buy from has orange drink mix which is about 140 calories and a couple of those pilot bread crackers you have are 50 cal each, need to be added to a couple of meals to get your colric intake up. I have ordered extra drink mixes and more pilot bread, you could basicaly live on them for a short period if you had too. civil defense bunkers only had 800 cal a day in biscuits. stock more oil for fats too

    Go buy 60 2Liter …
Go buy 60 2Liter bottles of soda for your water storage. at 59 cents each they will cost U (35.4$) less then a blue water barrel and U wont have to pay shipping use a bung or a pump, and they are easy to clean out.
pour out soda into pitcher , rinse out with warm water , fill with city (chlorinated) water. U could use your 5 year water preservative if u want. or u could change the water every year.
