A review of our Falcon 2 Backpack from Maxpedition. Like all Maxpedition gear, the Falcon 2 is great quality, rugged gear, perfect for a day and a half pack. On the compact side for a bag of it’s price, but can be a great part of a carry system.

i planned on …
i planned on getting more maxpedition bags but this falcon 2 seems perfix ..it forces the user to bring only items that are needed ….i try to keep it simple ..10 things for basic survival …the side straps really sench in the items to a tight fix …really a good pack for beginners …i spent many nights trying to make the falcon 2 smaller less gear …the smaller it gets the better …less is better if you have the skills

Thanks, and you right Hedgehog is a great example of customer service. Like I said before, that sucks about the trouble you had with Maxpedition. Adam, I was hoping this was an isolated situation but I have recieved serveral emails confirming what I went through. Its too bad becase the design is flawless. I can do three nights in the backcounty in this pack and live weeks on end on the road. I guess I’m used to dealing with company’s like Hedge Hog Leather who are great people with impossibly perfect products. Keep up with the videos Youtube needs real honest reviews like you do. A

Really!? I’m shocked to hear that. The only thing I have had to deal with them was a broken buckle that I slammed in a door and broke; they sent me a replacement and an extra just in case I did it again. Now I know that like a $4 piece, but I thought they have a 100% return policy for defects. Please let me know more about what happen if you can. I have like 15 Maxpedition items and have never had a problem. I am sorry to hear that you are. Let me know and thanks for the comments.

Great video FYI maxpedition does not stand behind thier bags. I have gone through with them on a bag that looks like a blind person sewed it together. I put a negitive review on thier site in the review section but they wont post it. Great designs but a very poor comapny to work with.

It is very compact, so it would most likely work great for that function. The pack does allow great range of motion and is very comfortable. Plus since it’s on the smaller side you will not over pack it. Take care,

That’s my biggest complaint about Maxpedition. When I got the Falcon 2 I was shocked about how small it was. It’s a great bag, don’t get me wrong but it’s not build for large frame guys. I’m 6 foot 3 so you can see the size in reference to me.
